Moms Tri
Tri Suit c/o Moo Motion Sports The Saturday before Mother's Day I participated in my FIRST Triathlon! It was a sprint tri consisting of 400 meter swim-12 mile bike-5k run I signed up for this race when I was pregnant with Ryker knowing that I would be 5 months post baby and really wanting to set some goals to get back into shape! It was seriously so much fun and I will admit... super hard! I am not a swimmer and honestly fear the water but I love to run and cycle. When I first got in the water I pretty much had an anxiety attack and just focused on one lap at a time till it was finally over and the FUN started! Lake Powell Half Marathon (Take 2!)
Race Shirt & Pants: Beyond Yoga 3 weeks ago I ran my third half marathon! After my first race, I SWORE I would never run a half ever again. (I'm sure it wasn't that only swearing done that day... opps!) Now a year later, here I am 3 half's down and craving more. Just maybe the third time is the charm because after this race I felt amazing! I cut minutes off my time and ended feeling refreshed and accomplished which is very different from the first time feeling nauseated and plain dead. I know that my biggest motivator was my sexy boy running with me. I have to give credit where credit is due, husband agreed to run alongside me and seriously kept me focused and eager to do my best! Devil’s Bridge – Sedona, Arizona

One of our favorite ways to get away from the stress of life is to find beauty in nature. I love sleeping in a tent outside under the stars away from the city lights. I enjoy taking a big deep breath of fresh air and most importantly away from technology and lists. It is easy for me to get wrapped up in our growing to-do lists and feel the anxiety of life.
