This year for Christmas we are trying so hard to focus on giving meaningful gifts & not just throw toys at Ryker. As most of you know, we love to travel & we plan to go on plenty of fun adventures this next year. We are doing some zoo & park passes but my one year old isn’t going to know what a piece of paper says come Christmas day.
I’ve been super into the KonMari Method & I came across an article about giving meaningful gifts instead of things this holiday season. Is it a knick-knack that will just take up space or something they can learn from or actually use & enjoy? She said even if it was a one time use, if the person receives joy from it then it’s worthwhile.
Cameron & I sat down to think of how Ryker’s day goes & the things he would use & get joy from. If Ryker had it his way, he would just have a huge pile of rocks but that might weigh Santa’s sleigh down a bit…
I remembered meeting this super cute girl at the Pinner’s Conference that has a local shop called Ivory Tub that makes bath bombs. I purchased several & loved them then she told me that she has mini ones perfect for kids. Baths are a huge part of Ryker’s nighttime routine so what a fun gift for him.
Okay + the little mini bath bomb are cars! So cute! Ry is really getting into cars, so when I pulled them out of the bag he got so excited & started laughing! He played around with them before dropping them in the tub. He kept feeling all the bubbles as it was fizzing & I think it tickled him 🙂
These Tubbables are the perfect stocking stuffer & come in so many fun shapes like cars, bears, hearts & MORE!
