I LOVE OCTOBER! I love to dress up for Halloween (can’t wait for this years couples costume) and fill my home with pumpkin everything. This year, fall also brings the season that our own little pumpkin will be welcomed into our family. I was thrilled to find this gorgeous dress by Isabella Oliver that I knew would help me document and remember my sweet pumpkin bump this Fall! I usually don’t wear much orange but slipping on this perfectly fitted dress made me feel so elegant as I accessorized with my bump and the quality is stunning! They have a huge variety of maternity dresses that would be perfect for numerous occasions 🙂
Pregnancy is more than I ever expected it would be and growing a baby definitely takes a toll on the body, but those hormones sure do provide you with lots of laughs…
And for your reading pleasure one of my TOP craziest pregnancy moments…
In our faith we choose to keep Sundays holy, meaning no shopping, eating out, etc. So one Sunday we came home from church only for me to realize I had an intense craving for Rice Krispies Treats. Homemade with extra gooey marshmallows please. Throughout pregnancy, I haven’t really had many cravings but this was so over powering I started to cry. (Dramatic I know :/ ) Poor confused Cam had no idea why and tried to look up things we had on hand to make me a yummy sweet alternative.
“Strawberry cheesecake?” I sobbed and shook my head no
“Chocolate chip cookies?” Are you kidding me! Not even close
“We have ice cream!” Now I have begun crying harder because I feel stupid that I am crying
Finally, Cam announced he would just go to the store and grab a box of treats. Heck no jo! First off this is a craving of the homemade variety and second it’s Sunday! Cameron is so patient, he sat down and asked me what I would like him to do. I told him to tell me to get it together! This is ridiculous – I am crying on the couch on a beautiful Sunday because I want Rice Krispies. Cam hugged me and told me to just close me eyes and he would be back in a minute.
Lo and behold, the husband returned with our baby’s “womb service” and I am not ashamed that I proceeded to devour an entire row of ooey gooey HOMEMADE Rice Krispies Treats!
Do you have a funny prego craving or story? Please do tell so I don’t feel so crazy silly!
