At church each year we have an event for girls ages 12-18 called Young Women in Excellence. It recognizes all that the girls have accomplished that year with their personal and spiritual goals. This year we had a Red Carpet Theme and everyone got to dress up in formal attire. We served dinner and dessert, had MC’s, award presentations, and a slideshow. It was great way to see their accomplishments and we wanted to throw them the celebration they deserved.
Step 1: Invitations. I was also in charge of invitations for the event and with an overwhelming schedule I knew just who to turn to for help.
Kelsey blogs over at I just Like the B and she has an amazing talent for all things crafty. She owns INKH Designs and does amazing custom & pre-made printable invitations and cards! I told her a few ideas of what I needed for the invite and a timeline of when I would need to print them. She went above and beyond, sent me 2 different styles of printing, helped update changes quickly, and gave me information on where to print and what type of paper I would need to ask for. I love working with her not only because she is a great friend, but because she is professional and creative.
Christmas is right around the corner and I love sending holiday cards to my friends and family! To help you create your perfect card Kelsey is giving all Mr & Mrs Smith readers a 15% discount from today until Tuesday December 3! That is one week of savings people, so take advantage!
