I am loving this week and I think the main reason is all this warmth and sunshine. This is my favorite part of living in Arizona and I have to soak it all up while I can. Cam and I hit the trails by our house this weekend; just the two of us. We couldn’t even remember a time that we haven’t brought the furry babies along and it was definitely a different experience.
I took a cycle class last Thursday and the instructor kept
saying yelling “what’s the key to endurance?!” And the class would say, “ENDURE!” That statement really took with me.
“the key to endurance is to endure”
Really that can be applied to anything. Fitness, health problems, long days at school/work, personal goals, life. We just need to endure. I thought about some of the hardest times in my life. You know where you want to (maybe you do) go curl up in the corner crying and give up because it is just too hard and you think that this is all you can possibly take? I look back now and think, I made it through that. I picked myself up, probably with help from my parentals, hubby, or bestie and I took it one step at a time, made a plan, and got a grip on my life. I think I needed that reminder this weekend that I have done hard things and I can continue to. I hope that whoever reads this knows that you too can do hard things you may just have to endure a little longer and you can.
