Dress: eShakti (similar here in red) || Watch: Michael Kors || Ryker’s Bow Tie in Rust Chambray: Little Mr. (also digging this set) || Ryker’s Overalls: Gymboree (matching hat here) (also love these seersucker shorts for girls)| Baby Graduation Hat: Build a Bear *don’t judge me
Finally getting around to posting these amazing graduation pictures that Rachael took for us. I always love how she captures my family! Ryker had just turned 6 months and I asked if she could snap a few of just him so of course Ryker cried the whole time but Rachael managed to sneak some giggles out of our little man.
Speaking of little… yes he is in the 5th percentile… but can we talk about his TIE! -give me all the heart eyes- If you have followed me for even a little bit you have probably seen how much Cam loves bow ties; so when I got this tiny tie in the mail from Little Mr. I was smitten and I have Ry wear it every chance I can. Lucky for you this one is on sale for $12! My favorite is that it clasps on any shirt by hooking onto the top button and there is no metal clip that jabs or pokes Ryker. #winning
*back to graduation*
Everyone told us how hard it was going to be pursuing a doctorate degree while married. And honestly, looking back, it was freakin hard. I personally hate looking in people’s mouths so I never thought that I would find such interest in Cameron’s career choice but I guess you learn to love what your spouse loves because, well… that’s how marriage goes. There were a lot of late nights apart & a time or two that I was worried I was going to have a baby while he was doing some big oral surgery case but school was a love/hate relationship.
I LOVE that it’s over & I HATE that it cost so much…
No, but really.
We made amazing memories & lifelong friends & I have loved every opportunity that Midwestern has given Cameron. I cannot believe how fast 4 years could go by; I’m proud of you babe.
