Back in January, I went to Chicago on some job training. Never been? I hadn’t either but I can wrap up the Windy City in four words.
Cold. Ice. Wind. Pizza.
See now it’s like you were right there with me 🙂 I was only there for the weekend but here is a short recap of my trip!
I stayed at the Crowne Plaza which I would recommend to anyone going. It was in a prime spot for transportation, tourist attractions and food! I grabbed some delicious grub at Giordano’s which pretty much changed my life view on American Pizza! I walked down to the John Hancock Center put it was really overcast and you couldn’t see much 🙁
The next day before training I grabbed some grub at Starbucks, I know I know, but I was on a tight schedule… I walked over Michigan Avenue Bridge and the FROZEN RIVER to Millennium Park to see the ever so famous Cloud Gate. It really does look just like a big silver bean! The park is full of art and has an outdoor ice skate rink and music playing. There were a ton of people walking around but it didn’t feel too crowded. Overall, fun trip. Cold. But fun 🙂
